Project Next Generation is a child welfare and education initiative of the Social Workers Welfare Society, dedicated to protecting children’s rights and creating better opportunities for children to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
Every child deserves a safe environment, quality education, and the freedom to dream. However, many children from vulnerable and underprivileged communities face challenges such as child labour, child begging, child marriage, school dropouts, and limited access to educational resources. Through this project, we work towards addressing these challenges through awareness, education, community participation, and collaboration with relevant authorities.
The project focuses on promoting child rights and protection through awareness campaigns and community outreach. We also encourage school enrolment and help children from economically weaker families by providing essential educational materials such as school bags, notebooks, textbooks, stationery, uniforms, and other learning resources.
Along with educational support, we organize motivational sessions, career awareness programs, and workshops on important topics such as child safety, good touch and bad touch, personal hygiene, and life skills. These activities help children become more aware, confident, and prepared to make positive choices.
We also work to create awareness against child begging, child labour, and child marriage while encouraging parents and communities to understand the importance of education and child protection. Whenever required, the project coordinates with the District Child Protection Office (DCPO) and other relevant stakeholders to support child welfare initiatives.
Through these efforts, Project Next Generation aims to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children, giving them the support and opportunities they need to develop with dignity and confidence.
Our vision is to see a future where every child is protected, educated, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential. By nurturing today’s children, we hope to build a generation of confident, responsible, and compassionate citizens who can contribute to a stronger society.
