Standing Together in Times of Crisis & Need
Project Disaster Relief Connect is an emergency response and humanitarian support initiative of Social Workers Welfare Society, dedicated to providing timely assistance, relief support, and disaster preparedness awareness during natural disasters, emergencies, and critical situations.
The project focuses on building a responsible volunteer network capable of responding effectively during challenging situations such as floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Through community support, emergency relief activities, awareness programs, and disaster preparedness initiatives, the project works towards strengthening community resilience and saving lives during times of crisis.
During the Punjab Floods 2025, the young volunteer team of Social Workers Welfare Society actively participated in relief operations by reaching affected communities and providing essential support, including ration kits, food supplies, and other necessary items to families impacted by the flood situation.
The organization also promotes disaster preparedness and emergency response training by conducting mock drills and awareness programs in coordination with government authorities and concerned departments to prepare youth and communities for emergency situations.
